We’re often asked what B Corp actually means, and why it matters.
Intelligent Futures is a Certified B Corporation, which means we’ve completed a rigorous, third-party assessment of our impact on employees, customers, suppliers, communities, and the environment. We’re part of a growing global movement of businesses committed to social and environmental responsibility. At the time of our certification in April 2023, there were only 447 B Corps in Canada, and over 6,000 Certified B Corporations globally, spanning 80+ countries and 150+ industries.
So what does it mean to be a B Corp, and why should you care? In short, B Corps are businesses that prioritize purpose alongside profit. Instead of focusing only on dollars and cents, B Corps seek to balance positive impact on team members, our communities, the environment, and the bottom line.
